Board Member

Mark was diagnosed with failure to thrive at two months old. It was not until his adult life that he was diagnosed with NEHI. He and his wife have a daughter and son with NEHI; both of whom were diagnosed as infants. Mark, both children, and other extended family all carry a common gene mutation which has been linked to NEHI. Mark and Stephanie have worked with the foundation for several years assisting to raise money for the research that is so desperately needed.

Mark's firsthand experience as a parent of children struggling with NEHI was a key reason for joining the Board of Directors. He has also seen the impact medical research can make from the study of his own family and the impact it has made upon the NEHI community. Mark has previously served on the board of various not-for-profit organizations including working as Treasurer.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science in Accounting from Indiana University.
